Falafel is a chickpea croquette which can be cooked in various ways, baked, fried or in a pan. You can accompany it with a delicious pita bread and tahini sauce, or with salads. Chickpea provides numerous nutritional benefits, such as a legume, is rich in protein, fiber, and is also a source of vitamin E and has a high content of thiamine, vitamin B6 and folates.
In a deep fryer: fry at 140ºC for 2-3 minutes.
In oven: bake at 200ºC for 6 to 8 minutes.
In a pan: over medium heat 2-3 minutes on each side.
Ideal to accompany Mediterranean cuisine dishes and to serve with pita bread in falafel kebab and with tahini sauce.
