Shipping & Returns
As a general rule, packages are shipped within 48/72 hours of receipt of payment, please note that Saturdays and Sundays no deliveries are made. And orders placed after 3pm will be taken as made the following day.
We work with Correos Express for standard shipments in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and with Refrigerated Transport for products that need to maintain the cold chain in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
We do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
Shipping costs include transport costs and these may vary depending on the selected products, if they need refrigeration for shipping, the total weight of the package, and if the shipments are within the peninsula or the Balearic Islands.
We advise you to group all your items in one order.
If some of your products need refrigeration, your entire order will be grouped into a single package in which the refrigerated fee will be included.
We cannot combine two different orders.
Where can I receive my shipments?
Your orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have entered when creating your account, so it is important that you pay attention when covering this information. Remember that once registered, in the "address book" section of the "my account" you can add all the delivery addresses you want (eg your office, your summer house, your parents' house ...) and select the one that you interest when placing your order.
Why do we ship refrigerated products with another carrier?
Because we have a fleet of refrigerated vehicles that guarantee the delivery of your purchase in perfect condition, keeping the cold chain at all times. In this way, the products will retain all their quality, flavor and freshness from the moment they leave our center to your home.
Do not worry. Once you have placed the order, we will carefully package each product and make the delivery in refrigerated trucks. If for some reason the carrier cannot deliver the order because no one is at home, the products will be stored in a refrigerated warehouse, so that at no time will they lose the cold chain.
Is it possible to cancel an order when it has already been sent to the customer?
Once the order has been sent, it can no longer be canceled. If you want to cancel an order before it has been shipped, we will refund your money including shipping costs. But it is very important that you contact us the same day you place the order, in the event that you wish to cancel the order.
At gourmediterranean we want returns to be simple and fast.
Please make sure you meet all the requirements:
VERY IMPORTANT ... check your order before accepting it! And take pictures of it if you see that the packaging or the product is in bad condition.
If when you receive the order you detect a wet box or suspect that a break may have occurred, do not accept the order and contact us so that we can manage the incident. at 933 727 910.
When you receive your package, please ensure that the product has not been damaged during transport. The package received must be in good condition. Otherwise, write this fact on the delivery note of the carrier, reject the shipment and notify it within 24 hours.
If you have no external symptoms of having suffered any damage during transport, and once you have signed the delivery note, open it and check the merchandise. In cases of product deterioration or lack of conformity due to transportation (which are not manifest at the time of delivery), you must notify it via firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 calendar days after receiving the order.
It is very important that you remember that we only have 7 calendar days to make the insurance effective, so you must notify us of these facts within this period.
What do you have to take into account when making a return?
You are within the established period: maximum of 7 business days from receipt of the order.
It is very important that you indicate: order number, your name, email, reason for the return and additional observations that you consider appropriate. We will reply to you as soon as possible.
The item must be in its original packaging and perfectly packed to avoid transport damage. For this it is necessary that the products are protected by an additional external packaging, as you received it.
The item must be in perfect condition and without having been consumed.
The article must be sent with all the documentation and accessories it may include.
Once the product returned to our offices has been received, and after checking the state of the same, the product will be reimbursed according to the payment method you used to pay for the order. In case you do not meet the requirements, we reserve the right to return the money.
You will receive the money in your account between 4 and 10 approximate days depending on the payment method and the bank.
Normally the packages arrive at our offices in a period of 2 to 10 working days depending on the country of origin. We try that there is not much delay, but your return may be handled between 2-3 working days after receipt.
Remember that only if we have made a mistake when sending you the product, the return and replacement costs will be at our expense
