The Altitudes red wine from the IXSIR winery is a red wine whose dominant features are warmth, sharpness, maturity and character. Its aroma is ripe fruits, its delicate and complex bouquet varies between a forest aroma and red and black fruits. Blackberry and blackcurrant notes give the wine a smooth and complex character. Its silky final flavor makes it a pleasant and accessible wine to share in a relaxed atmosphere.

The name Ixsir derives from "Iksir", the original one in Arabic, which derives from elixir, defining the purest form of all substances, like this delicious wine of extraordinary taste.

Description

Altitudes red wine is a wine cultivated with sustainable agriculture, the IXSIR vineyards are spread in the mountains of Lebanon on calcareous clay and limestone soil, benefiting from the unique microclimates that Lebanon has to offer. IXSIR's vineyards culminate at an elevation of 1,800 m, making it one of the highest in the Northern Hemisphere.

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Caladoc and Tempranillo.

Flavor: Its final silky flavor makes it a pleasant and accessible wine.

Wine Pairing: It will be perfectly combined with roasted red meats - lamb, duck and beef.
