Arak Kefraya is a white alcohol. A first distillation (Armagnac method) allows 67% alcohol to be obtained, then this alcohol is redistilled to eliminate methanol, a toxic substance, the third distillation is carried out in a Charentais pot even in the presence of the best fresh green anise of Syria. Therefore, this first arak obtained is distilled again to concentrate the flavors of anise.

Traditionally in Lebanon, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif with water and ice cubes, it is an aniseed, distilled and colorless alcoholic beverage, produced in Lebanon.
